Protein Rich Pea Soup

Ingredients

1 spring onion
3 cloves of Garlic
1 Potato
100g Peas
A few Parsley Leaves
1 Handful Basil Leaves
2 Scoops Origin Nutrition Unflavoured Protein
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Paprika Powder
3 Peppercorns
200ML Water

Method

First cook, and then blend all of the ingredients together.
Garnish it with Coconut cream and Parsley!

High-Protein Black Bean and Lentil Soup

Calories – 225 kcal per serving

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 yellow onion (diced) 
2 carrots (diced)1 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon red chilli flakes
450 grams tomato puree
1 cup dried lentils
450 grams black beans (cooked and drained)
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups vegetable broth
1 scoop Origin Nutrition Vegan Protein (Unflavoured)

Method:

In a large pot, add some oil and saute the garlic and onion till translucent. Add in the carrots, chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper and chilli flakes. Cook for another few minutes. Now add in all the other ingredients and cook over a low/medium heat for 30 minutes until everything is soft. Remove from the heat. Now take out 1 1/2 cups of the mixture and blend it along with Origin Nutrition Vegan Protein. Add it back into the soup and mix well. Serve warm.

Preparation

Add all your ingredients. Heat olive oil in a  saucepan over a medium heat. Add in chopped garlic, carrots and onions. Saute till slightly soft. Add in the red lentils and give it another stir until they heat through. Pour the veg broth and coconut oil into the pan and simmer for around 20 minutes. Remove from the heat. Add in lemon juice and Origin Nutrition Vegan Protein (Unflavoured). Blend it with a hand blender till smooth. Serve warm with some crusty bread.
