Tomato Tamarind Chutney


🔹 2 tsp cooking oil
🔹 1 large tomato, chopped
🔹 1 large onion
🔹 1 green chilli
🔹 1 date (any variety), pitted
🔹 1 tablespoon tamarind paste
🔹 2 cloves garlic
🔹 1/2 teaspoon black mustard seeds
🔹 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
🔹 Sea salt, to taste
🔹 1/2 tsp chilli powder
🔹 1 scoop of Origin Vegan Protein (Unflavored)


  1. Add the onion, tomato, green chilli, garlic cloves, chilli powder, tamarind paste and dates in a skillet as shown in the video and cook for a few minutes.
  2. Once cooled, blend the ingredients to a fine paste using a mixer.
  3. Add some mustard seeds, cumin seeds and chilli powder to the heated oil.
  4. Transfer the chutney paste to a bowl & season it with the mustard-cumin seed mixture. 5. Serve it with dosa, idly or roti and enjoy!
