High Protein Beetroot Tikki

Ingredients

  • Boiled Chola – 1 cup
  • Origin Unflavoured Protein Powder – 2 scoops
  • Grated beetroot – 1 pc
  • Grated carrot – 1/2 pc
  • Chilli – 1
  • Ginger – 1 tsp
  • Salt – 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1.5 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice – 2 tsp

Methods

  • Soak the chickpeas overnight and boil until they are soft. Drain the water and mash them well.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed chickpeas, Origin Unflavored Protein Powder, grated beetroot, grated carrot, green chili, and ginger.
  • Add salt, red chili powder, garam masala, and lemon juice. Mix everything thoroughly until you get a well-combined dough-like consistency.
  • Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a flat, round patty. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  • Heat a non-stick pan with a bit of oil. Place the tikkis on the pan and cook on medium heat until they turn golden brown and slightly crispy on both sides (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  • Your beetroot protein tikkis are ready! Serve them hot with mint chutney
