About Kaju Katli Pro
What is the protein blend?
A mix of yeast protein and quinoa protein, both plant-based. It’s blended into the cashew base, so you get double the protein of regular kaju katli.
Why yeast and quinoa?
Both blend smoothly into the katli, so the texture and taste stay the same. Quinoa protein is also a complete protein, with all nine essential amino acids.
How much protein is in a box?
50g of protein in every 250g box.
Does it really taste like regular kaju katli?
Yes. Same melt, same silver-topped diamond, just with double the protein and half the sugar. That was the whole point.
Can you taste the protein?
No. There’s no grit and no aftertaste, just kaju katli.
If it has half the sugar, is it less sweet?
It’s just as sweet as you’d expect a katli to be. Most people can’t tell the difference.
What allergens does it contain?
It contains cashew (tree nuts).
